The Ultimate Deep-Tissue Reset

Combining active shoulder-lock airbags with dynamic cervical traction, Reset Neck creates a powerful, controlled lift and pull that decompresses your vertebrae.

This unique mechanical action goes beyond surface-level massage, specifically targeting suboccipital trigger points to release the deep-seated tension that holds your posture captive and causes stress headaches or eye strain.

How to Use

Step 1: Position the Device

Lie down on a stable surface, ensuring the heating & EMS pads are in direct contact with your neck. Dampen your neck if needed for better EMS sensation.

Step 2: Power On

Press the Power button on the remote; the LCD screen will light up and start a 10-minute timer.

Step 3: Select Your Mode

Choose your preferred mode using the remote. The selected mode will light up, and the operation will begin.

* Please limit your first session to 3 minutes to allow your body to adapt. A notification "beep" sounds after 5 minutes during traction or auto mode to help you track your progress.

tension-headaches-and-eye-strain-caused-by-suboccipital-muscle-tightness

Root Cause: Understanding Suboccipital Tension

The suboccipital muscles are a small group of muscles located at the base of the skull. Chronic tightness in this area is commonly caused by forward head posture (Tech Neck), where the head sits ahead of the shoulders, forcing these tiny muscles to work overtime to keep your eyes level.

These muscles share nerve pathways with your face and eyes, meaning tightness here often manifests as tension headaches behind the eyes or across the forehead.

Furthermore, because these muscles coordinate with every eye movement, staring at screens creates a cycle where eye strain locks up your neck, and a stiff neck further fatigues your vision.

FAQs

Can I use this if I have pre-existing medical condition?

Cervical traction is considered a physical therapy treatment; therefore, we strongly recommend that you consult a doctor before using it if you're concerned.

Note: Please start with a lower intensity and a shorter usage duration.

Can I sleep with this neck care device on?

We would strongly advise against using this cervical traction device while sleeping. Please note that RESET NECK has a 10-min auto off timer, which also helps prevent discomfort due to prolonged usage.

Does this device help with posture correction?

Yes, by regularly stretching and relaxing tight neck muscles, this cervical traction device can help improve posture over time.

When should I NOT use cervical traction treatment?

1. Diagnosed or Suspected Cervical Spine Conditions:
If you have diagnosed or suspected conditions like cervical spine tumors, tuberculosis, or infections, it's advised to avoid traction.

2. Severe Disc Problems or Spinal Issues:
If you have a central cervical disc herniation with symptoms like pain, numbness, or dysfunction in both your arms or legs, or issues with bowel and bladder control, cervical traction should be avoided. Patients with cervical myelopathy (spinal cord compression) or severe spinal stenosis should also avoid cervical traction.

3. Cervical Disc Herniation with Spinal Slippage (Spondylolisthesis):
If your cervical spine has vertebrae that are displaced (spondylolisthesis), traction could make things worse, so it should be avoided.

4. Poor Overall Health or Serious Health Conditions:
If you're dealing with serious respiratory, circulatory, or other health issues, cervical traction might not be safe for you. Always consult your doctor to make sure traction is appropriate for your health condition.

5. Osteoporosis, High Blood Pressure, or Heart Problems:
People with significant osteoporosis (bone thinning), high blood pressure, or heart disease should avoid cervical traction. Traction can cause fractures in osteoporotic bones or worsen heart and blood pressure issues.

6. Increased Neck Pain After Treatment:
If you notice your symptoms worsen or you experience intense pain after using traction, stop immediately and consult with your doctor.

7. Pregnancy, Children, or Cancer/Tumor Patients:
Pregnant women, children, and patients with cancer or tumors should avoid cervical traction.

What should I do if I can barely feel the EMS stimulation?

The electrical signals are transmitted through water or other moisture. Before use, please moisten the area of your neck where the EMS/heat pads will be in contact with water.

Why do I feel pain in my neck after using?

1. Overusing the neck traction device can strain the muscles and ligaments, resulting in post-traction pain. In this case, we recommend reducing the traction time.

2. Discomfort can also be caused by excessive friction on the skin. If pain occurs, we recommend shortening the usage time.

3. Additionally, applying heat to the treatment area before and after use to promote blood circulation can help reduce discomfort.

How long does it take to feel relief?

Some users feel relief after the first few sessions, while others may require consistent use for several days to notice improvement. Results vary depending on the individual's condition and the severity of the neck pain.

Is it safe to use the neck traction device every day?

Yes, the EMS neck traction device is safe for daily use.

Is it normal to feel a mild dizziness or nausea when using the device?

If you're not diagnosed with CSM (Cervical Spondylotic Myelopathy), mild dizziness or nausea during your first few sessions is a normal reaction to neck traction.
